The A5 sized Herbal Year Book is a guide through the calendar year which will deepen your connection to the medicinal herbs that grow around you, both in the wild or in the garden, and teach you about medicines that you can make with them. A beautifully compiled collection of illustrations, recipes and herbal wisdom with a handy monthly guide to what you can harvest.

This is to last you for all years, not just this one or the next. It goes through the months letting you know what to harvest, what to grow, and gives you beautiful seasonal artwork and recipes.

About the authors:

Written and collated by Herbalists Without Border Bristol, a volunteer organisation made up of medical herbalists, community herbalists, people who are passionate about herbal medicine, and herb growers. HWBB is a local Bristol group not affiliated with any other organisation.

HWBB has provided free herbal medicines to the refugee community in Bristol since 2016 via local support projects that work with asylum seeks and refugees.

Plants have always paid little heed to human imposed borders; responding to external conditions, seeds spread to new lands and make home for themselves where the environment will sustain them. HWBB is one answer to the question of how to respond to the pressures that migration places upon people when they have to uproot and start again.
